This is the official list of characters being kept in game. Everyone else was either dropped because their player said they were or they never responded to the thread or the emails I sent out. As soon as I'm able to talk to Amanda and/or Shannon, we will start working things out for the new opening date. In the meantime, I'm without an internet connection at home, so please bear with me.
As for the characters not on this list, you're free to place a hold if someone opened up that you want to play. Someone will be editing the available list soon. The available list is edited, if I missed anything, let me know.

I may have a problem getting online for a while. The connection I've been stealing has been working relatively fine (with the exception of dying a lot) over the last month or so since we lost our own connection, but yesterday it started having more problems connecting. Now it's not being recognized at all (or wasn't when I left home about 8:30 this morning). If it's working when I get home I'll delete this post and repost the intro from Marlene. If it's not, then I'll be around when I can. (Likely daily except Sunday for about an hour and once a week from grandma's (either Tuesday or Wednesday every week) for however much I can be on.) If nothing else, I can do tags from grandma's and copy them from here to work on at home. I'll be around as much as possible though. I may be able to reply to journals/write journals while at the library depending on time, but as for writing tags it takes me a little too long for an hour limit.
I apologize to anyone this inconveniences and I will hopefully have this resolved soon.
I will continue finding out whose staying/leaving as soon as I can. I may send out a few emails when I'm at grandma's house this week.

At this point and time, Expugn is officially closed for renovations.
The game sadly died a while back. Amanda and I have been fighting to keep it active, but unfortunately it seems to be beyond help. My original plan was to open an entirely new game as a continuation, but instead, the reigns have been handed over to me with Amanda and Shannon as my co-mods. (Those mods who have lost their positions, I apologize. Five mods is a lot, especially not being sure whose staying and whose dropping. However, if the need for more mods arises once the game is more active, you will be the first to be considered.)
That being said, we need to know who is actually staying. Please comment below with your characters, journals and played-bys. (This is your only chance to change your pb if you feel the need to, but you're also welcome to keep the same pb.)
You need not reapply for characters you are already playing, however if someone is dropped that you would like to play you're welcome to apply for that character.
During the renovation periods, some storylines will be written out. We will also be writing a history of what has happened in game for any new blood we get once roles are claimed and ads go out. If there is anything you would like retconned, also please let us know now.
Below the cut are the characters that are currently accounted for. We will be adding to the list as people comment. Since we know some people are probably not paying attention to this community anymore, we will be asking people individually in a few days if they haven't commented. If you see this it's easier on us if you go ahead and comment (even if you're dropping) so that that's one less person we have to ask.
